About PTR

The Poultry Training Record is the international version of the Poultry Passport established within the UK.  The Poultry Training Record uses the same minimal training standards as the UK's Poultry Passports, to ensure true equivalence for compliance with assurance scheme requirements.

Once registered both individuals and companies are able to access their training records from any internet enabled device.  The system identifies gaps in training and where refresher training is required, helping businesses plan their training delivery and ensure that refreshers are not missed.

Training records are populated on the system by the scheme administrators who verify the training to ensure that it meets the schemes requirements.  This external quality assurance ensures the accuracy and reliability of data on the system.

Individuals will be able to access their own training records and if they decide to move company, they are able to transfer their training records with them.  The common training standard means that  re-training may not be required if the individual has already completed the training with their previous employer.
